Podi Dosa

Podi Dosa:

I always ask my mom to make hot hot Podi dosa and give me. This has been my all time favorite dish.


Dosa batter

Place a iron tawa on the stove. If you find the tawa sticky see this link.
Tawa should be hot enough before pouring the dosa. Check it by splashing couple of droplets of water on the pan and it should sizzle.
Now pour a ladle of batter on the hot tawa and keep spreading it in circular motion outwards.
Immediately spread the podi on the dosa.
Cook on a medium heat till it turns golden brown.
Now, flip the dosa and let it cook for a minute.

Serve it with coconut chutney or tomato chutney or brinjal chutney or tiffin sambhar.
