Cheese Corn Balls

Cheese Corn Balls:





Ingredients:

Corn – 2 cups
Potato – 1
Onion – 1
Oil – for deep frying
Cheese (grated)  - ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves – few
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Daniya powder – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Corn flour – ½ cup
Bread crumbs – 3 tsp
Salt – to taste

Preparation:  

Pressure cook corn and potato with little water and salt.
Chop onion and coriander leaves into fine pieces.
Grate the cheese and keep it aside.

Method:

Split corn into two halves and grind one half of it in a mixie to a paste.
Take a bowl and mash the potatoes in it.
Add the corn paste and the whole corn into it.
Now add all the powders mentioned in ingredients, salt, 1 tsp corn flour, 1 tsp bread crumbs and mix it well. You must be able to form a round balls out of it.
Make a 2 inch diameter balls out of it. Flatten the ball in between your palm.
Keep the grated cheese inside and make it a ball again. Keep it in a plate.
Now make a paste by mixing both the corn flour and bread crumbs.
Dip the corn balls in this paste of bread crumbs and corn flour.
Heat oil in a deep pan and fry them well.

Serve it hot, with sauce J
