Ginger – 1 inch piece
Green chilli - 2
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Cumin power -1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves - few
Oil – 1 tsp
Chop tomatoes into cubes and dice the ginger and green chillies into small pieces.
Add in onions and stir till well it becomes translucent.
Add green chillies, bottle guard, quarter cup of water and salt to taste.
Close the cooker and allow it to one whistle and let the pressure to release by itself.
Open the cooker, turn on the stove to low flame and add in tomatoes, coriander, cumin powder and mix well.
Allow the tomatoes to soften and liquid to reduce.
Smash down the bottle gourd with the back of the ladle and cook till it reaches the desired consistency of thickness.
