Toor dhal – 1 cup
Chana dhal – 1 cup
Black pepper – ½ cup
Mustard – ¼ cup
Fenugreek seeds- 1 tsp
Turmeric – 5 sticks
Sambhar podi is ready. Store it in an air tight box J
If you are using powder turmeric, you need not dry roast it.
Instead of dry roasting all the ingredients, keep it in sun for 4 to 5 days and then grind in a blender.
